IAC was started in 1996 with only a couple of students and one instructor run out of an old 6 tatami mat apartment. The Tomigusuku School was opened in May of 1999; we now have several hundred students and some of the best EFL instructors in all of Japan.

We maintain the highest standards with regards to teaching English as a foreign language. All classes are small and intimate, and all instructors are not only native speakers of English, but qualified EFL instructors. IAC is a member of many recognized language teacher associations including J.A.L.T. (Japan Association for Language Teachers) and ETJ (English Teachers in Japan) to ensure the continued development of our instructors.

We offer a wide range of EFL classes to suit the diverse needs of our students. Classes include Tots and Tots club ( 2 and 3 year old classes and play clubs), Elementary aged children’s classes, Junior High classes, High School and Adult classes, private and special classes, overseas study preparation classes, business English classes, and English proficiency test classes. We also offer dispatch programs for Nursery schools and Kindergartens, technical and business colleges, government groups, airlines, hotels and other businesses.
